The Educational and Charitable Foundation
Corporate Partners Program

For 20 years, the Educational and Charitable Foundation has offered transformative and
sustainable programs in Northern Virginia. Through our network of community partnerships,
we have supported numerous strategic initiatives and programs, including the American Cancer
Society Relay for Life, Stop Hunger Now, Food for Others, Women Giving Back, and the Rev. Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of National Service which included Sunday Supper, Snack Pack
Donation, Transitional Housing, and Homeless Outreach.

ECF Community Investment & Impact Program

Community Investment & Impact Program encourages partnerships and investments to assist Virginia Fairfax County, Loudoun County, or Prince William County organizations for a specific education, human service, or social justice programs or projects. ECF Community Investment and Impact Program grants are awarded without regard to gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or disability. ECF’s Community Investment & Impact Program supports programmatic resources and services in four strategic areas of focus:


  • Academic Achievement & STEM Enrichment

  • Culture Engagement

  • Economic Empowerment & Global Impact

  • Health, Wellness & Social Welfare


The Educational and Charitable Foundation, a federally designated 501(c)3 organization, was established in 2001 by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Lambda Kappa Omega (LKO) Chapter.
