The Jacqueline Gilliard Rosier ECF President Endowment Fund was established to provide financial support through scholarships for:

1. Academically struggling, need-based students, accepted into college or trade school;

2. Individuals and families in need-based academic financial crisis; and

3. Music, art lessons, and camps for gifted and hardworking, financially need-based students K-12.

The endowment honors the contributions of Ms. Rosier, the first president and director of the Educational and Charitable Foundation. Ms. Rosier has faithfully served Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® for more than 50 years.

Teacher Assistance Grants

The Education and Charitable Foundation Teacher Assistance Grant supplements and offsets the funds Fairfax County public school teachers normally use to equip their classrooms and/or provide educational opportunities to support students and learning. This may include, but is not limited to professional development, software, equipment, lab materials, books, classroom materials, field trips, and technology. The intent is to assist public school teachers in improving, advancing, and enriching student learning.
